Lupine has developed a new daily routine. She pulls her little chair up to our homeschool supplies chest, facing the
Ipod and speakers. She smiles, sings, stares, laughs, and sings some more.
The inspiration? Lavender's Blue Dilly Dilly. Lupine loves Mary Thienes Schunemann.
She asks for it throughout the day. The pentatonic (Waldorf) music is magical and captivating to small ears. I can't recommend it enough for your favorite toddler!
And for the bigger kids? Sage perfers AC/DC.
What can I say. This CD arrived too late.
(Truthfully, we had This is the way We Wash a Day when he was young and he loved it as well.)
Have a wonderful Valentine's Day. See you all back here on Monday!
Ha! I love it!!! 🙂
My boys love programming their playlists on the ipod for when we are in the car. They are spunky boys, they like spunky/driving/rhythmic/melodic music. We play piano and drums a bit in this house and I love that there is always something going on. We had more youth oriented songs when the boys were younger too, but I’m a musician and so always have had music as a part of our daily life, so we are movin’ on down that road. 🙂
Oh, the changes that come…
I love that your son has long hair. My son will be three in June, and despite an all-obviously-boy wardrobe, people see the golden curls and coo over what a pretty girl he is. So, done with off-topic 😉
Love your blog. I’m so glad I found this. It’s hard to encourage creativity for my kids because I’m living in a cramped space with my parents and all their really expensive furniture that isn’t exactly conducive to a child-friendly environment, but I think I’m finding some really great ideas that we can do together that don’t involve a large mess.
I’ll be back 😉

Dejah,
Oh, the mamas of the pretty boys. We are forever united. 😉 Spring is upon us – what about outdoor crafting? You can spread a plastic table cloth on the driveway if you have to, and then hose everyone off before the go back inside! Thanks for the note. Check back soon!
