Winners.

Two posts in one day? Unprecedented. But we've got babywearing business to attend to. You know. The winners. And a bonus poem, just for fun:

Gazing out

Safe, happy, curious.

Beside Mama.

I've selected the winners with a little help from the Random Integer Generator. I'll be announcing winners day-by-day throughout the week. As it is Monday, last Monday's winners are below.

If you happened to win something you don't feel you will use, do let me know and I will happily find a new home for it.

Thanks to each and every one of  you for your enthusiasm, participation, and love. If you see your name below, please contact me by email so that I can arrange shipping. (rachel at lusaorganics dot com).

Moby Wrap: Devon K who said:

Something
that I really held in my heart is when my 5.5 year old held my 1 year
old in a carrier. He said – Mom! I can hold and snuggle "M" now just
like you! He doesn't have the confidence to hold him in just his arm
but felt more confident holding him in the Kozy (not that he went
anywhere, just walking around the carpeted family room, but it helped
my 1 year old settle down, and the looks of love between the two of
them were thankfully captured on film, but will never leave my heart.

Thank you
so much for doing this! The positive publicity for babywearing is so
needed right now. I have been babywearing for 9 years, its a must with
a toddler and running errands.

    Kristi,
When Sage was a baby I loved my frame pack. But that isnt wearing a baby close to your body, so some of the babywearing advantages werent there. With Lupine I thought I would still love the framepack so I picked one up from a friend – and used it once. We LOVE our ergo. Lupine still rides in it at 3 1/2 as happily as she did at 6 months. Thats my vote~

My SIL and her sister have sworn by the Ergo as well. I on the other hand adore my Grisol wrap ( the nonorganic version of the didymos). I love how nicely woven the the fibers are and they support a small child and large child very well, not to mention you can spread it over your shoulders to spread the weight out.

Good luck in your search for the right product!

Is the ergo one that can go on the front and the back? I have a Baby Bjorn but feel like he’s getting too big for it (even though it says it can be up to 35 lbs. and Hudson’s only 20 lbs.) I feel like when he rides in it, his face is directly in front of mine! Does the Ergo seem to stay on pretty well without feeling too heavy? How does it “fit” you? Thanks!

I’ll look into the Grisol wrap, too – thank you!

    Kristi,
I am emailing you a photo of Lupine at a VERY tall 3 1/2 years old to give you an idea. The height is great. While the Bjorn hangs mostly from your shoulders, the Ergo sits low on your hips, like a backpacking pack. It adjusts at the waist and shoulders for a custom fit.

    Peace,
    Rachel
