Stepping away from the computer this week really opened my days up wide. There was more time for knitting and reading books. Cooking and taking long, cloudy walks. Gathering fall leaves and thinking about gratitude.

Your words in my last post really touched my heart. Thanks to each of you for what you shared. It means so much to me.

This November I am participating in a Month of Gratitude. What that means is that each day I jot down a list of five things I am thankful for. How about you? Will you join me? Because being mindful about all that is right in our lives can help to dissolve all that is not.

And in that spirit, here is a little nature magic for you to enjoy. Watch, and be in awe. Magic is everywhere.

I’ll totally join in on a of gratitude. I need it since I’m in the thick of toddler tantrums. Every day is a struggle to help my little one figure herself out and it’s been a bit frustrating for all of us. But are a lot of good things that happen through out the day and I bet writing them down would keep things in perspective.

Indeed. I remember after Sage rebounded from being very sick as a toddler I would focus on gratitude for having him still in our lives everytime he pushed my buttons. I would repeat a mantra in my head to temper my frustration over his behavior and try, instead, to get in touch with appreciation.

    Hugs, Rachel
