Oh, my. What a few days it has been.
Pete and I both got the flu over the weekend. I have in bed – quite literally – since Sunday afternoon. I'm not sure I've even been this sick before.
Fortunately we staggered our illnesses so when I felt better than Pete I was able to take care of kids, pets, and home. And when I crashed he was ready to jump (or rather limp) in to take over.
I think I've slept for 60 hours in the past three days and I am just now this morning beginning to feel a bit better.
Hooray for that!
Sorry for the extended silence over here. As soon as we're truly back on our feet I'll be back.
Love,
Rachel
take your time. glad to hear you’re feeling a little better.
be well,
tameka
Feel better. A good reminder for all of us to take it easy and really enjoy the specialness of the holiday season calmly and quietly!
The flu is the worst. I had it over the fourth of July a couple of years ago. I had no idea you could get it in the summertime. Take Care.
Get well soon ! sending you lots of hugs
Feel better soon! We too are expiriencing a round of throat& ear type flu- complete with fevers! Oh it’s the most wonderful time of the year…
Oh dear. I am sending healing vibes your way.
Glad you’re on the mend! I hope you feel much much better soon!! P.S. I ordered the set of three essential oils for baby and I LOVE them! I can’t sleep without the sleepy one (and little one seems to be falling asleep faster too) 🙂
Oh yucky! So sorry to hear it! It just got cold here in Az and I’ve been using your lip balm non stop.
Feel better! xo
We’ve missed you and hope you feel better soon!
(Writing my first comment ever – I think – and that seems rather exciting for whatever reason…) 🙂
A beautiful and very fitting photo, as usual. (Feel better soon!)
