I'm not sure how its possible but my life continues to get more and more beautiful. Sure, we have our grouchy-fussy-snarly days, but then a moment like this bubbles to the surface and we see beauty instead of a mess.

These are the gifts that my children share every day.

yum. my boys have sadly outgrown the food all over their bodies phase. i have some great photos/memories. ;P

i LOVE digging out bags of fruit we picked and froze last summer to make our morning smoothies. SO delicious, and a reminder that the sun and warmth will indeed return.

Sage has outgrown the food-smeared-body phase too (and temporarily outgrown being photographed at all under normal circumstances – thus the absence of my sweet boys face around here lately). And yes, the summer warmth of berries in winter is a pleasure and a blessing. Thanks for your comments, Denise!

She (along with her brother) had been painting with blueberries while I worked. Art time with Papa is pretty rad. She was enamored with her new colors and then asked to take a rainbow bath.
