After a full day away, everything seems more beautiful. (And everyone seems happier.) The sun is shining and we're set for a wonderful weekend together.
The day was spent drinking coffee, wandering through thrift stores, eating Nepalese food, and talking with a favorite friend. A perfect mama day.
I'm not prone to taking time for myself very often but each time I do I am glad that I did. It has been a hard lesson for me to learn: the lesson that I'm a better parent when I also take good care of me.
See you back here Monday for the Babywearing Celebration!
nepalese food??? ooooo, if you are talking himul chuli, I sure do miss that place….
Were you in Madison?? I am in Madison as I’m sure a lot of your readership is too. I’d love to run into you some time. Maybe at the co-op. I’ve been to your co-op and love it. It’s so clean and well-lit and beautifully stocked. Makes me want to live there. I have two good friends who live there and love it. I’m sure you might know them actually.
Chautara actually. Ive fallen in love with that place (though I spent many afternoons at Himal Chuli as a teenager and college student). I love both! Miss you.
