Giveaway : : Living Crafts Magazine.

Ornament6-knittedfruitLowRes

I stumbled upon Living Crafts Magazine just before their first issue launched three years ago. I could hardly wait for the first issue. My subscription has never lapsed – and for good reason.

Living Crafts Magazine is part inspiration, part step-by-step how to's, and part community for me. I think of it as a Waldorf craft magazine, thought it is more than that. We've tackled quite a few projects since the first issue, in fact a knitted fairy project is what made me pick up my needles again after so many years. I'm thrilled to be contributing a pattern for the upcoming fall issue!

I had the pleasure of interviewing Pardis, Living Craft's founder earlier this week.

Clean: What inspired you to go into this line of work?

Living Crafts: Motherhood.  I already had the natural magazine background.  Once I
became a mother I started handwork and saw a need for a craft magazine that
was designed for mothers and grandmothers who practiced a natural lifestyle.

Clean: How do you believe you and your business are bringing good into the world?

Living Crafts: To be of service to mothers who want peace, health
and joy for their families is my ultimate goal.  This magazine is all
about nurturing the nurturers’ creativity!  There are hundreds of
parenting publications out there, but not many craft magazines with the mother
and child in focus.

Clean: What else should we know?

Living Crafts: That we are a
privately owned company and that your support with every subscription, or
purchase of back issue, counts and is appreciated.  We are the little
magazine that could, thanks to you.
