What an amazing summer…and while the housework may be getting left in the dust (heh) the memories you make are way more important. Your kids will remember summers in the water and sun, they won’t remember that the house was messy. <3 At least that's what I tell myself...
You have ALL the good spots!
it’s a haul huh. I’m really trying to figure out where to bring my little dude for some beach action… Viroqua is so…. beachless.
any suggestions? I’m curious about that spot with the spring you were at the other day too!

Elizabeth,
Its Lake Wazee in Black River Falls. Its over an hour, but good clear water and a big stretch of smooth sand. The spot the other day is outside of Avalance. Send me and email and Ill get you directions!
Very sweet photos!
Now that’s how a house should look during summer. Love it! Our moment is at down at the water as well: http://heartfelthomemaking.blogspot.com/2010/07/this-moment.html

Monkednififed,
Its worth the drive! Were in the hills here, so no lakes – just rivers. This spot is a bit of a haul but so worthwhile.

Love it! The chores will always be there, those little hands will not!
PomegranateGrl,
So sweet. My friends babes. My kids have already outgrown their wee dimply hands.

Andrea,
I love Parfreys Glen! I use to hike that trail with Sage in the sling. Sigh…
This was an old quarry in Black River Falls. Closest thing to a lake around here!

Oh I love these pics! My favorites are the last two: chubby little hand in wet sand and then completely sacked out. Chores, s’Mores! 😉
