It has been more than a week since we headed down the road for our final summer fling. Somehow the seasons transformed before our eyes from summer into fall during our week away. The weather turned colder and before our eyes the leaves began to turn. So now our Autumn begins, a bit early but with joy.
We enjoyed a birthday in the woods, a week at the river, a wedding
at the farm, and even came home with a new-to-us diesel car that gets
nearly 50 MPG. What a week!
The wedding, pictured below, was so inspiring that I am dreaming of getting married again (with Pete, of course). Beauty, music, humor, and good taste… Sigh. Such a magical blend.
I'll be back with a more stories and photos from our week during the coming days. Love to you all. Thanks for your patience as I made time for my family and friends.
Love,
yyyeeeeaaa so glad you all had a good time but really glad you’re back – have missed reading your writting.

That cake topper is the bomb!
Cassandra,
I laughed right out loud. In the midst of all this wedding elegance, we have Jedi.

Is that Vinny playing the didgeridoo?
Rachel,
It is! It was Vinnie and Ginas wedding at a farm near Custer (where Nick and Anne also live, if you remember them as well.). An amazing weekend with many dear old friends.

Sounds like you guys got a TDI! We love our Jetta. I’m pining for a TDI wagon when our minivan retires. Go diesel!
