LuSa Organics Giveaway.

Lusaorganics

I love LuSa.

And that makes sense. It is my business after all. (That's baby Lupine and I cutting soap a few years back.)

But it is more than just that. I really love LuSa. Even if it weren't my business I would still buy our products. Because they work better for my sensitive skin than anything I've tried before and they smell dreamy.

I'd also buy LuSa because it is not made by a big corporation, but by an actual family. (I have a tendency to root for the little guy. In this case that would be me.) And the ingredients are ethical and top notch. And we are really nice people to boot. What's not to love?

Booty-HIGH-RES-10-09

And what about you?

Some of you have found your way to Clean because you already love LuSa. Others have only heard of LuSa because of coming to visit me here. Let's mix it up a little. If you are an existing customer I'd love to hear why you love LuSa. Why are you hopelessly in love with what we create? If you're new to LuSa I'd love to encourage you to give us a try. It's how we make our living. It's how I write this blog. And it's really fantastic stuff, I tell you. You'll be so happy you did.

  1. Michelle says:

The product I’m most familiar with is the Baby wipe juice, which I love, but I’m also drawn to the idea of using natural products for my baby and myself. Thank you for all of your hard work!

  2. Josie says:

I love that LuSa balms work so well and gently but I have to admit my favorite attribute and the reason I keep coming back to Lusa is the way they smell. Every item I’ve tried (chin/cheek balm, lip balm, soaps and roll-ons…they all smell so clean, natural and herb-y for lack of a better term. I first found Lusa at Art V Craft a few years back and I fell in love. I love that it is a small business in the state where I reside, I love that LuSa has a purpose and products are created with intention. Thanks for doing, what you are doing 🙂 best, josie

  3. Laura A says:

While I love that you are a local, mama owned business, my favorite is the smell of your products! It takes me away!

So given that I LOVE the smell or your products, I would have to say that a room freshener would top my list of new products. However, I would also really like to try a liquid soap!

  4. Anna says:

Booty Balm was recomended to me this summer, once we tried it, the whole family was hooked. Everyone loves it on their booty… me, hubby and kiddos. If your booty needs some balm, this is the bomb diggity.
a local store (Little Bare Bottoms-Eau Claire WI)has started carrying many of your products and I’m eager to try some more.

I have told 3 different pregnant women about booty balm since and will put up a link on my Facebook page.

I’d be interested in trying a natural deodorant especially if it smelled as good as the booty balm!!!

  5. Sarah says:

I’d love to try your soaps, but I keep putting off ordering them since I make soap as well, and it seems such a luxury to buy it when I am so near broke! I’ve definitely drooled over it on the website, though…and I totally love reading your blog.

And room freshener would be my number one choice for a new product. I’m pretty sure I couldn’t resist that at all!

  6. A says:

I came to this space via Soulemama and am totally interested in trying the wipe juice! As new parents, we are striving to stay “green” and have been using cloth diapers and practicing EC…so the disposable wipes we still use don’t really fit the picture: ) I especially appreciate some of your posts that touch on how it feels to parent in a way that is different than others around you. While, fortunately, we haven’t met with any unkind comments, swimming against the stream is never easy!

  7. Rachel G. says:

I love LuSa for all of the reasons you listed, the philosophy, rooting for the little guy, etc. Keep up the good work!

  8. teryn says:

Also for a second entry … I would love to try the Best Ever Natural Deodorant. I keep thinking of making my own, but so far haven’t gotten to it … 🙂

  9. Nicole W says:

I looooove your soaps. It’s what’s in my shower! I’ve converted my fiancée and he loves them, too. I feel so good every time I buy/use them because I know I’m contributing to the wonderful things you’re doing with your family and especially kids…reading about those things truly inspires me to try them in my own life. I want to make sure I can keep getting that inspiration!

I’m pretty young, only 22, and so want to make positive changes in my life before I get too set in my ways.

I would love to try the liquid soap. I love bath products of all kinds, and I love being able to alternate between things, so being able to go from bar soap to liquid soap would be a nice mix up. Also, I’ve mentioned this to you before, it’d be so cool if you had seasonal scents throughout the year! I think it’d be a big hit!

THANK YOU for all that you do! If I got that certificate I’d totally use it for holiday gifts to spread the lusa cheer!

    love, nicole

  10. Rachel G. says:

For my second try, I would love a nipple balm. I don’t have any kids yet, but I am of the age when my friends are starting to have them, and I would love to be able to include that in a baby shower gift.

  11. Laura W. says:

I like the fact that Lusa is a family business. I feel that family business are more likely to put their care and hearts into what they make and frankly, I also love the fun crafts you do on your blog. My little one and I just dyed some playsilks using your tutorial and it created both pretty playthings and such a sweet memory. Thanks for the chance to win!

  12. Sotero says:

I suppose I would be considered a “future/potential/almost customer”. I heard about your products from Nicole, a great and dear friend of mine. We share similar interests.

I’m also 22. But being a man (insert gorilla grunt) I tend not to pay attention to my hygiene products. I grab and go at the local superstore, but after reading some of your thoughts about Lusa organic products I just might be convinced to change.

There are so many Lusa products I would like to try, but I’m also afraid I might not like them. I wish Nicole would live close to me so i can pop in her shower and try the soaps she already has from you.

If I win the drawing I would like you to suggest something for me in the soap category. Thank you.

    respectfully, Sotero

p.s.- if our bond does not make it past this comment, I would like to wish you the best with your business.

p.p.s- I followed a link on Facebook provided by Nicole W., so be sure to include her twice. (She left a comment too, immediately above mine)

  13. Stacey Lynn says:

I love, love, love feeling confident that I am using all-natural, gentle products on my baby. There are some things I won’t compromise on, and quality ingredients that touch her skin is one of them. Thank goodness I found LuSa! (And the fact that it makes me smell good too doesn’t hurt either!)

  14. ashlee says:

I love that your products are natural. I love that you are a family business. So far I have only bought your products as gifts for my best friend and my sis. They both loved the gift collections they received. I know I should get some for myself soon as well, but it feels like a bit of a splurge. I definitely plan to come to you, though, when we get around to having our first child. Your baby/mama products look amazing.

  15. navine says:

I want to try the essential oil and the calendua soaps. I would love to see shampoo, conditioner detangler for kids.

  16. Jennifer says:

I’ve been following your blog Clean for some time but haven’t ordered yet. I think I’d have to run out of my current stash of skin stuff (which admittedly might take a while) before ordering. Even better if running out coincided with a sale or a coupon for first time buyers. 🙂

    ailanna at hotmail dot com

  17. Jennifer says:

I would be most interested in trying the room freshener. The house gets pretty stuffy during winter months when we keep our windows closed.

  18. Renee says:

I love LuSa’s philosophy and love supporting smaller companies that I feel a connection with, even if it is just “knowing” you from the blog. BUT — I wouldnt keep buying stuff if it didnt work great and smell so good! I found your booty balm at a local cloth diaper store and decided to give it a go after reading about you on Soulemama. Now we have that, soap, belly balm, and more to come, Im sure!

  19. Renee says:

Oh, and for a second entry, I would LOVE LOVE LOVE some natural deodorant! I keep meaning to try making my own, but I know that if LuSa had some I’d definitely just buy it instead 🙂

  20. Kristina says:

I’ve never tried Lusa Organics, but have been wanting to. I especially love patchouli scented products. I especially want to try the lotion bars and the soap bars. I have just been waiting on the money to try the products.

  21. ashlee says:

for a second entry I would LOVE a natural deodorant that actually works! Tom’s has failed me miserably. I tried to make my own, but it made my pits peel something awful and I haven’t had the time or ambition to fiddle with the recipe more.

  22. Alyssa T says:

girl, if you make an all natural deodorent that works, you’ve got me!
love your blog and the friends we share…

  23. Josie Marsh says:

Isn’t it amazing how much you can love your work? I never knew… until recently 🙂
I’ve been loving your unscented oatmeal bars and will be back for more when this batch runs out. Thanks Rachel.
    Josie (Wooly Baby)

  24. Lori says:

Oh my what’s not to love about Lu sa. I have two little ones and I love that I’m using products on them that are so good for them. I love that everything smells so good and really and truly does work.

And for a second entry I would love some natural deoderant that actually works.

  25. Mariah says:

I would love to try some of your sugar scrubs, bath salts and when I finally get to have a little one I want to try all of your baby products- the baby wipe juice in particular!

And, honestly, I would love to purchase from LuSa but this year we have vowed to cut our gift spending considerably due to the economic downturn…$$ is very sparse.

  26. Mariah says:

I would love to get ahold of some natural deoderent that works! I’ve gone thru so many that don’t do a darn thing! The nipple balm would also be nice I’m certain when future baby arrives!!

  27. Mariah says:

I told others about the contest even though it means they’ll enter and my chances will be smaller at least I got a to have a third entry! I see someone on here I recommended already!

Thank you for this generous opportunity!

  28. katie steege says:

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE LuSa too! 😉 I first discovered LuSa products years ago at the Dane Co. Farmers Market and have been addicted ever since! I LOVE IT ALL! I love that I am supporting a small, family-owned, local business who believes in using good-quality, ethical and eco-conscious products, to create the best dang products I’ve ever used!!! 🙂 Thanx for all you do and for keeping me and my family “clean”! 😉

  29. katie steege says:

and for my second entry …
i would LOVE to have some LuSa lotion (liquid vs bar) and some shampoo/conditioner in the future!

  30. Anna@Tallgrasskitchen says:

Too many things to love – we exclusively use your calendula soap and booty balm on our babies, and I frequently get your ‘imperfect soap sampler’ for myself. Love the smell, and the packaging is like getting a little present in the mail.

  31. Natalie says:

I’ve never purchased, but I love the looks of the Tea Tree & Mint Lotion Bar – my husband & I both struggle with dry skin in the winter.

I love the idea of deodorant… that and shampoo are my two products that concern me but I haven’t switched to more natural options yet.

  32. wanee says:

I follow your blog, and haven’t tried any Lusa products yet but would love to try the natural bug spray. The boys loooove to be outside and are always coming back with mosquito bites despite the natural bug blends I’ve tried, and I would love to see how yours worked against our buggies !

  33. Mary says:

    Rachel,
Funny, I’ve never tried your products. I do feel a wee bit silly, because I haven’t even thought about it. Until now. (I usually have to inspect smells, ingredients, etc personally rather than mail-order because of sensitive skin.)

I have read your blog for awhile now, and love your perspective and thoughtfulness. Your values and parenting style resonate so deeply with me. Thank you.

Now, off I go, to peruse your products.

Thanks for the “well, duh” moment! : )
    Mary

  34. sherrieg says:

I love your baby wipe juice – I saw it in Mothering and we love it. And I initially bought it because it’s made by real people (and had rave reviews!) 🙂

  35. sherrieg says:

For a third entry, I would be most interested in a liquid soap (but only because I have the perfect recipe for my own deodorant, otherwise that would be it.) 🙂

  36. Astrid says:

I am familiar with many of your products as all of them are available for purchase either at Willy Street Coop or Community Pharmacy in Madison. I love that I am supporting a small business run by a loving mother and father and that I can support much-loved local businesses. I love the booty balm and wipe juice for my son. I use the booty balm all over his body and use the wipe juice for his cloth wipes, but also to scent his bath. I love your soaps (I bought the lavender and eucalyptus soap tonight, in fact). I love the lavender sugar scrub and am giving it as a gift along with a bar of soap as a Christmas gift to my Canadian sister-in-law.

  37. Kim says:

Well firstly I LOVE Lusa’s products! I like that I can buy my soap ‘naked’ without unnecessary packaging and I love how your soaps smell. I love that you are a family run business and would much rather spend my $$s with you than with a big corporation. And I like making up my own baby wipe solution – ingenius!

  38. Sara Adams says:

I love LuSa Organics! I got the Baby Wipes Juice a year ago when we started cloth diapering our second baby. From there I got Booty Balm, Chest Rub, Garden Scrub and Calendula soaps, and the Sweet Orange & Ginger lip balm. I love them all and love that I can get safe products from a local company sold at a local store. Thank you.

  39. Monica says:

I first came across LuSa products via happy bambino in Madison, and I’m hooked : I’ve had to seriously increase my monthly farmers mkt budget to accommodate my love of your products .. And they r my go to gift for every new mom!

  40. Monica says:

New products? Yes. Please! I would love all of them – particularly deoderant sincey husband has discovered he’s allergic to ever one he’s tried.

I’d also love to see some products sans vitamin e (friends who have extreme allergies to all forms, but would love your products)

  41. Emily says:

I just found your blog recently and have enjoyed reading your posts, I am a Wisconsinite and a homeschooler too. I live in Wisconsin Rapids but have visited Viroqua and it is a great town. I have never used your products but am interested in the Lotion Bars. I have dry skin problems in the winter and I think the bars would be great for my feet. Thanks for this oppertunity and I will continue to read you wonderful blog 🙂

  42. Anne Leigh says:

I love the booty balm, both of my kids have very sensitive skin and your balm is the only thing that’s worked to heal up their sore tushies. Thank you!

I’d be most interested in the nipple butter, I found some great all natural stuff before my second child was born and it was a Godsend, I’d love to try what you creat.

I posted a link to your site and giveaway on my facebook page. And plan to add a comment and link on my blog as well.

Thanks again for your amazing blog/products and giveaways, you’re great!

  43. Emily says:

I would be interested in trying the natural deoderant. I use Kiss My Face right now but would try a locally made product for sure 🙂

  44. Nicole says:

I havn’t tried LuSa products yet but I would love to. The kids and I think they look soooo good! If I had a preference for upcoming products I would say the natural deodorant. I have been using Tom’s but I havn’t been realy pleased with it and would prefer something (by far) from LuSa. Cheers!

  45. Jenifer says:

I love the booty balm (as does everyone, I’m sure). We use it on scraps, too. It works wonders and wipes out diaper rash in usually one or two applications.

I am also in love with the philosophy of LuSa and the blog in general. I get so many great ideas and tips from you!!

  46. Jenifer says:

For a second entry, I am having a hard time deciding which I would like better, the liquid soap (which might be easier for young children’s hand washing since right now my 2 1/2 year old likes to break the bar soap) or the natural deoderant. Just make both!! 🙂

  47. Ronna says:

I love that LuSa products are clean, natural, and handmade with love by a beautiful family. And I love that they work! That is what makes them so spectacular–you make luxurious, affordable skin care products that don’t force me to choose between effectiveness and my ethics. Thank you!

  48. Ronna says:

In terms of new products, I would LOVE a foaming liquid soap! And I’d also be interested in a natural deodorant.

  49. Laura says:

I am not a costumer yet, since I am from overseas…. and I kind of like the idea of buying local, yet there is no LuSa like business here…. so I always keep on checking out your products, and I must tell the truth is that I have never started trying because I can’t decide…. soap for the smell of clean skin, lip balm, essential oil for the senses, the child skin product series…. difficult choices to make!

For future products I would be very interested in a natural deodorant…. that would be fantastic, but I would also love some bubble bath treats!!!!

Well first of all I hope that I can give it a try one of these days 🙂

  50. Amanda J says:

When I have the need (after Feb) I’m hoping to try the baby wipe juice. I made my own version, but SO many comments have to do with the smell of Lusa products it has me desiring yours!

  51. Amanda J says:

Hmmm, a future product wish would be for the deodorant!! I’ve struck out with everything except baby powder (which is great but a little messy).

  52. Nahuatl Vargas says:

I just love the presentation of the products, beside all of the above, made by real people, quality ingredients.
But I haven’t try it, once a buy a like 3 products, but then I sold them, I have always think it would complete our product offer for women and baby at our site, but I haven’t made a first move yet.

  53. Danielle says:

I’ve yet to try any LuSa products, but I have requested the lemongrass lotion bar and (naked) lavender goat milk soap from my boyfriend as stocking stuffers for Christmas. And while I don’t have kids, I do tell all of my pregnant friends about your baby wipe juice simply because I think it’s one of the coolest concepts I’ve heard of in a long time.

I’ll definitely post a link to this giveaway via my blog as well!

  54. Lisa says:

I’ve been thinking about buying the Baby Wipe Juice. I found your blog through someone(I can’t remember who) talking about the Wipe Juice. I’m 39 weeks and will be starting cloth diapering any day now. Love your blog and will definitely be trying your products in the near future.

  55. Zoe says:

Hello! I am unsure how I stumbled upon your blog… common interests and lifestyles, I’d imagine. One time you did a free shipping promo and so I ordered a bar of patchouli soap – and it has lasted me sooooo long! I love it – I don’t share it – I love that it has texture and ingredients I can read. So I am somewhere in between “new” and “existing” customer. My daughter (almost 3) has eczema that I cannot figure out – so I think I’d try putting your Booty Balm on it, if you recommended it. I will not give up on trying to cure her eczema. Thank you for what you do!! It is so important!

  56. Peggy says:

Oh, I just placed an order a few days ago, but am thrilled to have the opportunity to win a certificate to order more goodies. Favorite product? Hands down, it’s the Sleeping Potion! Why? It smells good and it relaxes my grumpy teething baby…

  57. Peggy says:

Second chance to win? Okie dokie… My suggestion for a new product is more a “modification” of current products. I like the roller-ball applicator on the sleeping potion and prefer it to the drops released by the bottles containing your other herbal blends, but what I’d really love would be to have your herbal blends (esp. Cranky Pants) in a mist or spray bottle.

    Cheers!

  58. erin says:

I’d definitely be interested in trying the calendula baby soap. my son seems to have a bit of sensitive skin. This might be a good option.

Also, I’m most interested in a room freshener. I use it all the time at our house.

  59. Kim B. says:

I have yet to buy anything, however I plan to soon for the Holiday season. I really just needed a reason to justify the purchase. Money is pretty tight, but I feel that LuSa is a great way to spend it on gift items. I follow your blog and just love the ideas you share and the family you have. Thank you for being such a wonderful place to come back to again and again. Your blog is the only one I follow!

  60. Caroline says:

I’ve been wanting to try your products for a while! A few of your soaps are on our “to-buy when we have money” list 🙂

  61. Caroline says:

For a 2nd try… I’d love to see room fresheners- my husband and I can’t stand store bought air fresheners, so we would love a natural alternative that I don’t have to make myself 🙂

  62. Casey says:

So very awesome of you to have a giveaway!

I love LuSa because it’s a small, local, family-run company. I love supporting businesses like yours and buy almost all of your products (Booty Balm, Wipe Juice, Essential Oil Blends, soaps, etc) and love every single one.

I love your company (and family) philosophy and find it very inspiring. Thank you for being a company to believe in!

  63. Casey says:

Oh, and I’d LOVE to see a room freshener — kids + pets = smells and I’d love to smell LuSa all day long!

  64. Pamela R says:

Okay, so I’m a LUSA fan since before it was LUSA. 🙂 I love everything about it. I love the family that makes it. I love that it is such AMAZING stuff. Seriously, I’ve had to limit my little ones’ use of lotion bar (AMAZING, especially during a dry, dry Winter) and soap (I swear, if I let them, they would each use a bar per bath). I love the roll on goodness that sets the tone for each day, depending on my plans and mood and I love the coffee soap so my hands don’t smell like onions. I JUST LOVE IT ALL!!! My very favorite part, though, is giving some as a gift…they all become addicts. 🙂

  65. Pamela R says:

My second post…deoderant would be great. A shampoo bar would rock. Natural facial mask is also on my wish list. Always looking forward to trying new things!

  66. Stephanie says:

i LOVE the entire philosophy around your business, and that you’re local to those of us living here in wisconsin! plus everyone i know (including myself) agrees that your products are just wonderful. hurray for LuSa!

  67. Kristi Dalberg says:

I bought the postpartum herbs for after I have my baby and will be trying them soon – January! If I win this drawing, I’d use it to stock up on baby products because I know you only provide the best! Through your store and from reading your blog, I feel confident in the products you sell me knowing they are natural, gentle products created with sweet, little ones in mind. I feel like you only want the best for us unlike so many big corporations who add in so many fillers and junk into our products. I think your blog really helps sell your products because the reader can just sense your honesty and deep love for others, which creates a trust between you and the customers. Your lip balm is also great!

Also, that picture with the huge block of soap is awesome! I love that Lupine is just hanging out with you and can’t believe how huge that block of soap is!

  68. Kristi Dalberg says:

Another idea…what about a sunscreen? We are outside a lot in the summer, and there’s so much stuff in sunscreens that I don’t really like to put it on my little one much; however, that would be something I would love to be able to purchase from you! We didn’t really have any problems in KC with bugs over the summer but when we went on vacation, I was really wishing I had your natural bug spray!!

  69. sarah@theunwrapping says:

i love that i can get to “know” you and your family a bit by reading your words in this space. so then not only am i buying local products, but i’m buying from a family i really respect! LOVE that about lusa!!

  70. amy says:

    Hi,
I am pregnant with twins! They are my 3rd and 4th children so I thought my belly might be used to this by now. Not so much. My belly itches like crazy!! And the lotion I’m using doesn’t work! I am a mere 23 weeks along, so I have plenty of time for this belly to get huge(er). I would LOVE to try LuSa’s belly balm and I can only assume I’ll be needing the nipple cream too! 😉 (Thanks for the giveaway and I love your blog!)

  71. Charmaine Swan says:

I LOVE the way your box smells when I open it. And that it’s wrapped like a present. It’s nice to have such a fantastic business so committed to organic products and sustainability in all that you do.

I’d love natural deodorant! I’d also love liquid soap.

    I’ll share on FB.

  72. Kristin says:

I love that you guys are “local.” I used to live in Madison and now in Central WI. Our family loves supporting local businesses!

  73. Kristin says:

I invited my friend Jen to your giveaway because she has been looking to switch to safe baby and personal care products for a while now!

  74. Funky Mommy says:

I would love to try your products. They all look fabulous. I have been looking at your products since your Soulemama feature. I have a hard time buying products for myself. I will share the giveaway link on my facebook..maybe some family will get an idea of what to get me for Christmas. For future products the liquid soap and room freshener sounds appealing.

  75. Vickiholm says:

A good friend, Charmaine, recommended the product. I no longer have babies but I am a “great” aunt. I think Wyatt’s Mom, Julia, would LOVE to receive a gift of organic products since she is Organic by choice.
Kayla, my 8 year old has very sensitive skin also. Lotions & soaps can irritate her terribly. I may like to try something you could recommend for her needs. Mainly, washing her hands & lotion for her hands & body.

  76. Bobbie Wentzel says:

I am absolutely in love with all of your products (and their scents cheer me up every day- I even keep a bar of my favorite soap in the living room as a room freshener!), and looking forward to trying all of your baby items (and the momma ones I already have!) this next spring, when we’ll welcome another little one. I would love to see nipple balm, shampoo/hair care, and deodorant added to your line of products, and maybe laundry soap? We will be cloth diapering again, and I love that your booty balm is friendly to cloth diapers, too. Many thanks for a job well done!

I’m interested in trying your lemongrass lotion bar (among other products). For future product ideas, I’m always on the lookout for a natural deodorant that smells good and works well. Many natural deodorants smell sweet, but I prefer spicy/woody scents. Thanks for the opportunity to win a great giveaway!

  78. Jeannette says:

We use many LuSa products in our house! Facial soap, Baby Wipe Juice, Booty Balm, lotion bar, Sleeping Potion, lip balm, baby massage oil, and I’m not even sure that’s everything! We love these things because they smell wonderful, have awesome ingredients, and they WORK. Thanks for all the great stuff, Rachel!

  79. Jeannette says:

OK, here’s my second entry: My top choice would be deodorant. I make my own and it works awesome, but I’m lazy and I’d love to not have to make it anymore. LOL! My second choice would be foamy hand soap.

  80. Jody says:

    #2-
would love a natural deoderant. I make one now but I only really use it in winter as its not strong enough for summer.

  81. Alison M. says:

We use the Booty Balm on our kiddos’ bottoms and they love it. My two year old will say “I want Boo-ey Bom.” I have even used the Belly Balm. I want to use more, but wish I had my own personal LuSa fund!

  82. Danielle says:

I would love to try the bottom butter. My sister in law loves it and I would like to try it on my sensitive, quick to redden little girl. I would also love to try the lotion bars, so clever!! Free shipping would get me to buy I bet.

  83. Alison M. says:

I am in favor of the deodorant. I use Jason’s Lavender and while I love it, it’s just not working as well as I thought it used to.

  84. Danielle says:

I’d love to try some deoderant. I tried a few different recipes to make my own and I always end up breaking out so I have to go back to the scary store stuff that doesn’t leave me with red bumps all over under my arm. Please, help me get rid of the scary store stuff!!

  85. Nan says:

I do love the products and especially that they are made locally and by a family. The thing I really love best is that I can bump into the person that made my soap in the grocery store and ask questions not only about the products but about other practices they incorporate into their lifestyle. I love that the product hasn’t had to fly to me from France and is just as good (if not better!). That’s why we moved to Viroqua, and I love all of it.

  86. Nan says:

New products. Yum! I’m torn. A foamy liquid soap would be great in a house with kids. On the other hand, I have struggled for years to find a natural deodorant that really works. So far…no luck. Now I use baking soda, but that doesn’t really travel too well. I’d really love to try a new one. Good luck with new product ideas!

  87. Kelly says:

Rachel, you left the most generous gift of LuSa products when you stayed at our house in october. They are gorgeous and delicious and much appreciated! Our favorite so far is the Booty Balm (Bubbles’ Booty says thank you!) Even the packaging is beautiful. 🙂

  88. Sara Hudson says:

I love LuSa products, I have a HUGE belly with my recent pregnancy, used thier belly balm and whala no stretch marks. The products smell so good and they are made right here in Wisconsin – I live it!

  89. Erin Tokarz says:

A dear friend let me try her Lavender Sugar Scrub when I was visiting. I do not have indoor plumbing in my own house, so this bath I had was a double treat, because of the amazing amazing sugar scrub! I have been dreaming of it ever since! It made my skin feel soooo good, and my whole self feel so glowy and relaxed!
The new product I would definitely buy would be the all natural deodorant, and I would buy it for my teenage daughter who really wants a delicious scented deodorant, but one that is all natural. A vanilla scent would be perfect for her!
I am going to tell my sisters and my friend with the Sugar scrub to enter this drawing!
Thank you so much for this beautiful blog!

Well, I was planning to do a bit of Christmas shopping (I have nieces I’d like to introduce to your products), but I do believe I’ll wait until after Wednesday 🙂

I was introduced to your products through a friend’s diaper business–LOVE the booty balm, of course, but I’m also a big fan of your sleep potion. Sooo yummy (smelling 🙂 and works like a charm–especially at Grandma’s where a familiar scent does wonders at bedtime!

I’ve also been gifted some of your products by a thoughtful friend, and so I can say I also love your oil blends and sugar scrubs. Oh! And the lip balm! Good work on the lip balm! 🙂

Thanks so much for the chance to win–either way, I’ll be placing my Christmas order soon!

  91. tish says:

Been very curious about your products–and does my heart good to support and cheer on all of you “little” businesses making the BIG impact! Wish wish wish

  92. jen says:

Many many moons ago your labor oil (clary sage and lavender) brought me to you. Way back when you were Queen Bee. I would buy it on our trips to Happy Bambino in Madison. Don’t recall being able to find your stuff up in the Metro at that time. I used it often in my work 😉 I then began purchasing the baby care products for friends-shower/blessingway gifts.

Skip forward a few years and low and behold we move in two doors down from you. Whoa. Double whoa.

I have become addicted to your soap. And most recently the wipe juice. It smells so stinkin good. Often the little babe here just gets wiped down in that-and we call her “clean” for another week.

    Thanks for all you do!

  93. jen says:

    New product idea-
As others have said-anything that smells like wipe juice would top my list. Actually I do have another idea. I have also purchased (for friends and clients) a hemorrhoid balm from a not-to-be-mentioned other company. As I recall it contained witch hazel, calendula, comfrey, lavender, maybe st johns wort, maybe plantain. It was in a base of olive oil. The kicker was a smidgen of peppermint oil which is super “cooling” and numbing. How about something along those lines?

Thanks mama for all your great work!

  94. jen says:

One more thing-your sugar scrubs and lotion bars have become our go-to-gift for our 15yo twin nieces. They can be sort of tricky and each and every time they are soooo excited to open their packages from LUSA. We are thrilled that they are thrilled : )

  95. Rachel Wolf says:

    Zoe,
Booty Balm and Calendula Baby Soap are perfect for your little one’s sensitive skin. Also worth a try is Cheek and Chin Balm. It is a different formula than Booty Balm and often does the trick on the rare occasion when Booty Balm doesn’t.

  96. Rachel Wolf says:

    Zoe,
A second idea is for you to look into food causes of eczema. Often the fix is fairly simple. The Mothering forums are a great place to start. Good luck!
    Rachel

  97. Rachel Wolf says:

    Vicki,
I would begin with our Calendula Baby Soap. And in her bath water (and smoothed onto wet after bath/shower skin) I would apply Baby Bath and Massage Oil. Lotion often contains irritants that wont help her one bit. Oil plus water equals lotion, so go to the source and apply oil to wet skin.

    Many blessings,
    Rachel

  98. Rachel Wolf says:

    Mary,
We unconditionally guarantee every product so if you happen to choose something that you dont love well take it back, no questions asked. Hope that helps!

    Blessings,
    Rachel

  99. Rachel Wolf says:

    Mariah,
I understand! Keeping spending under control is a wise move. One thought: we realized that a bar of LuSa soap cost about the same as a Latte or a couple of coffee. A bar of our soap lasts most people four weeks, so thats a pretty good investment of $5 when you are ready for a treat!

    Blessings,
    Rachel

  100. Kate says:

I love LuSa because you are local (we’re in central WI), your products are natural and smell amazing (we use the booty balm and sleep potion on our boys and everyone is always commenting on how good they smell), and, maybe most importantly, they work great!

  102. Nicole says:

I love the soap bars. They actually moisturize my skin (and dry skin is a huge problem with Wisconsin winters!) and smell awesome. Thanks for your great products!

  103. Nicole says:

Oh, and I second the natural deodorant! I’d love to find one that really works and doesn’t make me smell like a guy.

  104. Susan says:

I love the lotion bars – they have seriously saved me. A year and a half ago I developed a severe sensitivity on my hands to soaps, lotions, shampoos, etc., and part of keeping the accompanying discomfort at bay is keeping my hands hydrated (and, obviously, not touching offending products). But it was very difficult to find something that didn’t cause a flare up. Your lotion bars work, and have been the best thing for my hands since this whole thing started!

  105. Susan says:

And I’d probably vote for a natural deodorant that works. Or, a while back you mentioned a shampoo bar, I think? That would be welcome, too.

  106. Marlo says:

I would love to try he belly balm or the chin and chest rub. Or the calendula soap. Okay, everything. I just need to get myself together and order something.
