Booty-option1-2T Hi ya'll. It's me, Rachel. In the pictures above. And that's my family. And those are the products we make with our own hands. We are actual human beings! (Not a corporation at all.) And every so often as an actual human I issue a sweet and gentle reminder that not only do I spend my time here writing, but I also own a lovely small business. A small business that pays my mortgage as well as feeds my soul. (The job of writing here, which I so love, does only the latter.)

So I am here to say, "Hey, I'd be stoked if you bought some product from me!" There. It's out. Yes – you, too, can have a little LuSa in your life.

I am the creator and owner of LuSa Organics, a line of highest quality, handmade organic body care and baby care. This blog actually was born out of my desire to make our business a little more transparent by giving you a view into our life, my philosophy and values. Because I think who we are is almost as important as what we make. And while the blog has since become it's own entity it began because of LuSa.

Our products are outstanding and I figure, hey, everyone needs soap. And some of you need baby products. Will you try mine?

I created our recipes out of my head over a decade ago and have continued to improve upon them ever since. Our soaps are moisturizing, gentle, long-lasting and offer a crazy buttery lather. And as any customer will attest, they smell incredible. Our award-winning Booty Balm borders on cult-like in its following. Booty Balm is magic in a jar and will heal almost anything you throw it at (the balm, not the jar).

All of the products align with my beliefs about the world. Less waste, more sustainable farming practices, better treatment of people, animals, and the planet. More good mojo all around. We donate 10% of our profits to amazing causes like La Leche League, the Midwest Renewable Energy Association, and dozens of other noble organizations. We donate some of our scratch and dent product to our local food pantry and try in general to be all-around-do-gooders.

And our products are made by hand right here in the Driftless. Vernon County – the second poorest county in Wisconsin. We employ four amazing people who all rank on my short list of the nicest folks I've ever met. And by supporting LuSa you support Heather buying chickens for her girls' homeschooling studies and a hay baler for her small farm. You support Chris's quest for a healthy gluten-free life as he heads towards marrying his sweetheart in the coming season. You support Karen finishing the construction of her hand-hewn home. Your support Steve as he bring live theatre to life in our small town. You support me, coming here to write to you here. Real people. A real small town. Real lives.

That's the power of buying from a small family-owned business.

I *love* your soap and baby products! Even though I moved to NYC a couple of years ago I still only use your soap–every year I stock up at the farmer’s market when I’m in Madison. And your “Welcome, Little One” gift set is my favorite baby shower gift–every parent I’ve ever given one to raves about your products!

  2. kendra says:

i’m really looking forward to shampoo and deodorant! i’d love the deodorant to feature grapefruit seed extract and desert sage essential oil.

  3. loriag says:

I have tried your soap and lip balm, and love both. They are excellent products. I would recommend them to anyone.

  4. Genie says:

Rachel, you are an inspiration and the more I know about you the more I love LuSa Organics. This is saying something because, frankly, I was already rather enamored of LuSa, especially Gitchigumi soapโ€”one of my favorite locally produced goodies to give to friends. I just discovered the marvel that is Booty Balm and we’re hooked (it’s true what they say: it ain’t just for booties). Now I hear you have a baby soap that might finally rid me of the tedium that is adult acne. Well, all I can say is “Woo-hoo!! Thank you, Rachel!”

  5. Summer says:

Love your lip balm, booty balm, and baby soap! I buy them for myself and send them as gifts! Keep up the good work!

  6. Kendra Mitchell says:

I love everything I have tried so far…Lotion bars, soap (especially Earth Child) and chest rub. Wish I could afford to buy everything!! Making do with little splurges. No longer need baby things, but still may get some booty balm to try on the strange scaly patches my husband gets on his skin.

A good friend just announced that she is pregnant and as soon as she gets the results from a few tests in a couple of weeks, I’m planning on sending her a gift set. All of my pregnant friends have loved the ones I’ve sent. I, personally, love your lip balm; it’s never not in my purse!

  9. jamie bertsch says:

love so many things about LuSa! I ALWAYS get into a conversation when people ask about my fragrance, Grounding. It has been my daily go-to since college! Also the Dancin’ Fool & Earth Child are our absolute favorites. Thank you, thank you. Our days are always a little more centered with LuSa!

  10. Janice says:

I love love love your products. My favorites are the soaps, sugar scrub, lotion bar, and lip balm. I’ve convinced one daughter (newly married) to join me in using your goodies and now working on the rest of them (there are 4 in all)!! I follow you on Pinterest and Facebook. Love reading your blog and I’ve learned so much from it. Love that you’re small and family owned. Love that when I buy from you I’m not helping a huge corporation get rich. Keep doing what you’re doing! You have lots of fans!! Thanks for making great products for us to love and enjoy! Happy weekend!

  20. Lori says:

And this is why i love Lu sa. You are real people and when i buy anything from you – not only am i buying some of the safest products for me and my little ones but i know Where my money is going. Cant wait to see you again – our stach is running low.

  21. Lindsay says:

I have only tried your wipe juice, and loved it. I would love to try some more. I have been meaning to buy some soap for a while now, just haven’t gotten around to ordering it. Will do now.

  22. Casey says:

I don’t know if I’m your biggest fan (your products warrant some pretty fanatical followers!) but I am sure I’m right up there. I’ve tried 90% of your products and talk up LuSa to everyone who’ll listen!

Sidenote: I got brave and dabbed some undiluted Wipe Juice onto some stress-induced spots on my face, and also on some fresh scars from surgery — everything looks so much calmer and ‘happier’ after! THANK YOU for the idea!

  23. CeeC says:

I have been reading your blog, but managed to miss the fact that you make lovely products! I cannot wait to try some out especially with a new baby on the way:-)

  24. shayray says:

I must say I love all soaps and lotion bars. Nothing says spring like lemongrass, but also essential oils… yummy. I am not pregnant and my son is not a baby, but i imagine your products smell delicious.

  25. Caitie says:

I haven’t tried LuSa products so far, but they look awesome! I’m a big supporter of buying from small brands too…it’s so much more personal ๐Ÿ™‚

  26. Jeanette says:

I keep your lipbalm everywhere, and your soap is always at the sink and in the shower. I introduced my mother-in-law to your products at Art vs. Craft last fall and now she’s in love too! I’m expecting my first little one this January (Even my midwife was familiar with your goods!), and I’ve already registered for some booty balm, It wouldnt hurt to have a welcome little one pack!

  27. Angie ama888 says:

I love the wipe solution, grounding oil, and chest rub. I will soon be making another purchase to try some other items on my wish list.

  28. Kim U. says:

you could say I’m a LuSa junkie. :o) out of everything I use, my two favorite products are the Booty Balm and the Lemongrass Lotion Bar. I’m almost down to a tiny, miniscule sliver of my lotion bar and am getting frantic. I need to remember to get another! Rachel, I also LOVE reading your blog. you are so inspiring and have a talent for writing.

  29. Nika says:

    Rachel,
I love your products and your blog. This coupon code came at the right time. I was actually looking forward to buying a bug spray as with the early spring there are so bugs already. My little one saw me killing mosquito one time and she became very upset about it. I didn’t know how to react and how am I suppose now to explain that you can kill mosquitoes but can’t kill other bugs. Maybe I should even say don’t kill any bugs. I have this dilemma now. This made me think about trying out your bug spray so I don’t have to kill bugs and don’t have to make my 18m upset. Also, in one of your post you mentioned you use soap to brush teeth. Which soap do you use? I use lavender baby soap to wash my daughter and one time she tried it and was very unhappy with the taste. When I tried it I didn’t think it tasted good so I can’t imagine how can we brush teeth but maybe you use different kind which would taste better. Please let me know so I can order at the same time as the bug spray. Trying to get my order up to $35. Can’t wait for shampoo and deodorant. I am thankfull I found your products and your blog. I am happy to have you in my virtual life!!!

  30. Amanda says:

Ooh, good idea about Mother’s Day potential gifts. I’m hoping to try the Earth Child soap soon. Thanks for the inspiration from your blog Rachel.

  31. susan says:

I’ve said many times before – I love your soap & lotion bars! They have saved my hyper-sensitive skin. And they brighten my day, every day ๐Ÿ™‚

My sister’s about to have her first baby (any day now), and I’ll definitely be introducing her to your booty balm and calendula soap!

  32. karri says:

I have been wanting to try Lusa products for some time now. I love your blog and your way of living! I think I will “take a leap” and get my babes some goodies for easter!

  33. Amy says:

It’s so nice to know where things come from, and get an idea of what the birth place of the products looks like. Real people are awesome! I have two friends becoming mums in August, and while I live in New Zealand and it may be a few more kilometers than I would usually prefer for my purchases to travel, I may have to splash out on some Booty Balm for them.
    Much love x

  34. jennifer musson says:

Iam due in June with our 3rd baby and iam excited to get the “welcome, little one” collection to try on our new little one ๐Ÿ™‚

  35. Skyefraser@me.com says:

I love the philosophy of easy on the Earth, minimal wastage and that it’s made of high quality ingredients.

  36. nannergirl says:

Your booty balm rocks! It’s my most borrowed item…although sometimes it is borrowed out of my diaper bag and not put back ๐Ÿ˜‰ I love that it’s easy on cloth diapers too. And it smells very nice and ‘real’, it doesn’t have a fake smell like a lot of products from big compainies. I often put some on myself in the winter because I love lavender. Thanks for all you do Rachel and team!!!

  37. Nettie Black says:

Yay! My brother and sister and law are expecting their first this fall. I would love to shower them with LuSa!

  38. liz says:

Your products all look so wonderful and clearly people love them ๐Ÿ™‚ I’ll admit I haven’t tried them yet, but would love too!

  39. Melanie says:

My husband is on a two-week-business-trip to Asia right now and I take care of our three little ones all by myself, so I would be more than happy to win the Delight Gift Collection just for…ME :o) (okay, perhaps I would share it with him, because it’s his birthday today and he is REALLY missing his family).

  40. Lisa says:

I love your products! We have used the lip balms, booty balm, and bar soaps. I can not wait until you have shampoo.

  41. bridget says:

I recently got some Lusa products and am loving them!! The chin and cheek balm has been a life saver for those little weird things that seem crop up around little ones mouths and sore noses. I wish it were in a bigger container because it seems to get misplaced easily around here (ie: mama error). ๐Ÿ™‚ Also loving the naked soap bar, even tried it on my teeth while in the shower, after reading another one of your posts! Not too bad I must say.
You have inspired quite a few changes in our household, especially along the lines of the food we eat and parenting. Thank You.

    Keep up the great work!!

  42. Kim Strand says:

I’m expecting my first grandchild in May and would love to introduce the mama and new babe to your products. I haven’t tried them yet myself but am planning to soon.

  43. Renee says:

Your Booty Balm was a necessity while I was cloth diapering my LO’s as well as the Baby Wipe Juice. ๐Ÿ™‚

  44. Joline says:

I have not tried your products yet, but I have been meaning to. This would be a great introduction.

  45. Marcia S. says:

My friend uses some of your products and recommended them. I just placed my first order and I’m looking forward to trying them out!!

  46. Elizabeth says:

I love that you are real people! I’ve been following you for a while and have dreamed of being able to try your products. Hopefully someday soon.

  47. Mousy Brown says:

I’m taking a leap too! Love reading your blog and looking forward to using the products too! Might email for some advice for my VERY allergy prone skin! ๐Ÿ˜€

  48. Kristen- Marinade Designs says:

I’ve been reading your blog for about 2 years now and I just love hearing about your life and watching your little family and business grow. As my husband and I begin to think about starting a family, it is inspiring to us to have so many wonderful examples of parenting.

A friend of mine who is about to give birth any day now, asked me a few months back as her belly really began to swell if I knew of any good skin balms for stretch marks. I told her that although I didn’t have any personal experience, that I had heard wonderful things about your Belly Balm. I told her that I regularly read your blog and loved that it was a family owned business and organic. She ordered it immediately and fell absolutely in love with it. Her belly looks awesome! I am going to order her some Booty Balm, Baby Wipe Juice, and Cheek and Chin balm today for when the little one arrives! It should help her new little one’s skin adjust to our dry Nevada environment! I am going to order some stuff for me too!

Thanks so much for creating such a lovely space here. I will continue to be a faithful reader–and now customer! ๐Ÿ™‚

  49. Emili says:

    Rachel,
We love your products! If it wasn’t for them my oldest child would still be crying in pain every day and night, over the winter. We are using Booty Balm on her whole body and hands to help with her eczema (and it really helps). I am using your soaps for making our own, healthy laundry detergent (thanks to you) and we are using your Calendula soap for my child’s sensitive skin.
I don’t know what would’ve we done without your products. We were suffering every single winter until I discovered your product line a year ago.
Now I am up to try your Earth Child sop on my acne and I’ll post later how it is working.
Thank you again for all those wonderful products!!!!!
P.S. What I personally would love to see in your line in the future is shampoo and detangler :).
    Thanks!!!!!!! Love you!

  50. Kate says:

I follow you on pinterest and both fb pages. I just tried your products for the first time, and love them!
I use your cheek balm for our littlest babe, and the Sleep Potion on everyone! I also use your calendula soap on our babes, and used your spice soap to make the best homemade laundry soap I have ever used!
Thank you for your wonderful products, and inspiring blog!

  51. Mama Jen says:

I agree, can’t wait for LuSa deodorant. Lusa is my go to for baby shower gifts knowing that the mama and baby get something wonderful, local and the chance to also discover your blog. We only use LuSa soap throughout the house – shower, bathroom, and kitchen. Big fan of the bug spray, can’t recall the name. Lip Balm is like no other, won’t even touch other stuff. On that note my daughter got a make your own lip balm kit at Christmas not sure if that’d ever work with your business but she thought it was a blast. Okay, here’s hoping I can be a winner! Keep up the great work all of you and blessings. Peace.

  52. My Barefoot Angel says:

I’m contemplating getting the bug spray as I’ve bought organic/natural before and my kids didn’t like the scent. Love that you tie your philosophy with your products.

  53. Elizabeth Anne says:

I knew of your products from seeing them at the Madison farmer’s market and from Happy Bambino, but I have come to fall in love with your blog, too! Now with bambino number two on the way I’ll be placing an order soon.

  54. Lindsey Bussie says:

A friend on facebook recommended your sleepy baby potion for me because I have a nap fighter on my hands, and it works great! (for him and me) Not only did it turn me on to all your other products, but my mother in law too! Now we order our LuSa stuff together.

  55. Mariah says:

I love everything about your company, I come to your blog daily! I’m super excited for deoderent which is one thing I can’t seem to get a good natural product. I’ve got a lot of skin issues and an organic hand-made product is just what I need!! Thank you for the opportunity to win!

  56. Susan Marks says:

I LOVE LuSa! The Patchouli Lotion Bar and Patchouli Sugar Scrub are my “go to” bath products! I’ve never smelled better!

  57. Denise says:

Just placed my first order! Been following your blog for a while now – so excited to try your products!!

  58. Beth says:

Thank you for all you do and share. My daughter will be thrilled to get the order I’m placing now.

  59. Erika says:

Love the citrusy soaps…No day should start without one! Your lotion bars and lip balms are also perfect (and yummy) skin protection.

  60. Em says:

I give your soaps to anyone I can! I fully believe the love you put into your products is transferred to the user- a trait that is hard to find in bath products and makes yours
the perfect gift to give to others. For ourselves, I have to say that the dent and scratch 1 lb soap package is so much fun- pulling out a new bar in a new scent is like opening a new gift each time.
Thanks for the coupon code, too!

  61. Jennie D says:

I recently received my second order from LuSa and love it! I have tried your soap, booty balm, chin and cheek balm, and belly balm. I would love a liquid shampoo from LuSa. (Maybe they contain too many chemicals?) My two kids, husband, and I are blessed (cursed? haha) with extremely thick, wavy hair. Of course my dear little boys get sand and dirt stuck to their scalps every time they play outside. I don’t think a bar of soap would get it clean enough but maybe I could try…

Anyway, we adore all of your balms. I bought the belly balm for my pregnant self but my boys love me to rub a little on them for a bedtime massage. ๐Ÿ™‚

  62. Dawn says:

I’ve yet to try your products, but I’ve heard such good things that I can’t imagine they’d be anything other than lovely. ๐Ÿ™‚

  63. jenny says:

oh what a great post your break from peaceful parenting was. it reminded me of myself so much. it’s such a hard juggling act sometimes, thank you for sharing.

and thank you for making such wonderful organic soap. we just love it. we still have some from a giant order right before my little son was born… we are due again soon. it’s fabulous, and i’d be delighted to win this.

    thanks for the chance!!

  64. jess says:

i would love to have the welcome little one package, for our little one coming in the next few weeks! thanks for the chance.

  65. Chelsea R.S says:

Hi Rachel! I stumbled across your blog when I found a post on peaceful parenting. You have been a huge inspiration to me in a rough patch I’ve been going through while trying to gently and lovingly parent my high needs toddler AND adapt to being a mama of two as I just had a new baby 2 months ago. tHANK YOU for that! I am also in the market for some cloth diaper safe bum cream and I see you make that! You will definitely have a new customer in me. <3

  66. Lynette says:

I love all of your products! Soap, wipe juice, lip balm, and what drew me in was the booty balm. I saw just pregnant and quite honestly, think I fell in love with the name! Anything called booty balm has to be pretty great, right? It’s lived up to our expectations:0
    Thanks!

  67. Jess says:

Love yours soaps, lip balms, bug spray, and baby wipe juice (probably my favorite thing ever). Wish I could find you carried in a local retail spot, but am always excited to receive a package in the mail when replenishing my must-haves. I think the heavenly aroma of lavender and patchouli from your products will forever be the smell of babyhood in my mind and the mind of my suddenly two-year old son. Wow, that happened fast.

  68. Tanya says:

I love your soaps and lip balm. My mom loves your lotion bars. I am excited to try you bug spray-am planning to order this week.

  69. Jen says:

I more recently discovered your blog, via the whole food workshop. I have loved it! Because of you, we are now making our own toothpaste and trying to be more peaceful parents (after learning about non-violent communication methods I read up on through your blog). I think you have wonderful ideas :)I would love to try some of your products in the future.

  70. Anne says:

I bought some of your products at the co-op in la crosse when I was visiting last summer. I think I will try the rosemary soap for my 13 year old.

  71. Kristin says:

I’ve been a customer since before you were LuSa and what initially sold me was the fact that you were willing to pour me a bottle of Baby Wipe Juice before you added a particular ingredient. Ask a corporate robot to do that!!! The quality of your products is just spectacular and we will be buying your products (and happily supporting your hopes and dreams) until you’re no longer doing this!

  72. Alex says:

Rachel, I wish I had known your products when I used to live in Oregon. But now that I live in France, I think it wouldn’t make any sense to have my soaps travel so far… when I can purchase them locally. I promise, if I live in the USA again, I’ll be a Lusa customer!

  73. Sherrie says:

I have such huge respect for you and your business, your outlook on the world, and how that ripples out from your home. You’re one of those people that I really wish I could sit and have a cup of tea with – come to Nova Scotia! There – that’s what I think you should know. ๐Ÿ™‚

  74. Jenifer says:

Thank you so much for not just running this awesome company, but for writing here. Reading it helps feed my soul, too.

  75. Kylie M-W says:

I love the passion that you have shown for your business… I love supporting small, family-owned ventures. The scents of your soaps sound divine.

  76. tameka says:

you dont know me, but you given me so much these pass few months i’ve been reading your blog. you’re a pretty wise woman. the least i can do is give back by purchasing from you. thank you so much!
    ~tameka

  77. Lori says:

You are wonderful, and the work you do is nothing less. Thank you for giving conscientious consumers a fantastic choice to help make the world a better place!

  78. lauren wolff says:

I love your products and your blog! I can’t wait to try your Calendula Soap on my little one with eczema. Thank you for teaching about love, possibility and the power of community! You are an amazing woman and your family is incredibly beautiful! <3

  79. beth says:

I love your blog. You have inspired my path into parenting in so so many ways. I would love to try your products!

  80. Shannon says:

I’ve been reading your blog for a long time and always challenged by your thoughts. I just found out I’m pregnant with my first and would love to try your products…and if I don’t win, I’ll be traveling to the closest store to buy some before the little one arrives!

  81. Roxy Schow says:

Love, love, love the calendula soap – it’s magic for my children’s skin. I love the goat milk soap, especially the ylang-ylang and lavendar (?) is that the right scent? And the chapstick. And the relaxing oil – and the bath salts. Everything is just magical. Would love to see a deodorant! Yay!

  82. Kashuen says:

    Hello Rachel,

I have been reading your blog for a while and I really like it. I check out your business and I have thought of buying some soaps. However, my skin is very sensitive. I tried some tea tree goat milk soap from a pretty famous company (family based company), however, it dry out my skin. And I look a the ingredients of all your soap and they are pretty much the same. So, if you can give a little more information about the ingredients of your soap, it will be very helpful.

I have 2 kids (one is toddler) and I would love to win this giveaway and try your products. Thank you.

  83. Poppy Appleseed says:

What a beautiful family you have created for your business! Your ethos is everything I believe in and your lovely home grown business is the kind of family I like to support. I would love to try some loved up Lusa goodness! You are incredibly inspiring…. How do you do it all?

  84. Nan says:

I love walking into a store and being able to buy something made in my town. I love running into the actual soap-maker while I’m wandering around town. It’s why we came to a small town. Not to mention that the products are great!

  85. Jillian says:

This new mama-to-be would love to try the Mama is Born gift collection and your Dancin’ Fool soap combines two of my favorite scents!

  86. Rachel Wolf says:

    Hi Kashuen,
I started making soap because my skin is so amazingly sensitive. I had to follow any soap I used with moisturizer- hands, body, face. Since I began making my own soap I almost never use any moisturizer at all. I have designed my recipes to be exceptionally gentle and moisturizing. The difference between formulas is the amount of each ingredient. We add fair trade shea butter at the end of the soap-making process that remains in the bar as a gentle moisturizer. I would encourage you to try any of our soaps, but the Calendula Baby Soap is the gentlest of all. I think you would love any bar youd try. (And if you dont, we offer an unconditional guarantee!) Hope this helps.

    All the best,
    Rachel

  87. Kate says:

We found you guys at the Midwest Renewable Energy Fair a couple of years ago and have been hooked since that first purchase. Booty Balm, Sleep Potion, and Baby Wipe Juice are among the favorites in this house but we’ve loved everything we’ve tried. Thanks for making such amazing products!

  88. Stephanie O' says:

I love your booty balm lip balm and postpartum herbs. I would love to try your soaps as well as give my sister (who’s due in June) a sample of some things too! I also absolutely love your blog! You seem to write about things just when I need them! Thank you!

  89. Darla Jackson says:

    Hi Rachel!
I love your blog and have never tried you products but always mean to. Things are tight here as we are starting our own family business, the Philadelphia Sculpture Gym, a community based workshop space for artists to come have access to wood shops, metal shop and mold making and casting equipment for a monthly fee. I was thinking the other day that I’d love to find a natural product that could compare to that awful Gojo stuff…the soap muck with grit in it. I haven’t used it in ages but sometimes sculpture dirt is hard to get off with just regular soap…do you have anything that would work, or, if not, can you invent some ๐Ÿ˜‰
Love the blog and everything you write about!

  90. Rachel Wolf says:

Oh my! I want to come there to play! We made Garden Scrub Soap just for what you describe. Big messes. Mechanics, gardeners, potters. Youll love it. Pumice and loofah with lavender, rosemary, and peppermint essential oils. Yum? Yes.

  91. Eve says:

Just found this site . . . shared the peper-maiche eggs with my sisters and would love to try your products!

  92. Eileen K. says:

After trying some soap that was so great it made my whole day better just for using it, I got some belly balm and some booty balm for my sister who’s expecting. I hope she enjoys it too! Thanks for the giveaway!

  93. Jane says:

We love your soap, and I use your chin and cheek balm on my toddler all winter long! Oh and I love your oil blends too.

  94. heather says:

I *almost* look forward to the times I have to shower with both my little ones because it means I get to smell my soap and theirs ๐Ÿ™‚

I love you’re blog also, you are crazy inspiring!

  95. Erynne Mitchell says:

Booty Balm has saved two baby’s bottoms in our house… and your soap helps me relax and have a few moments of Me Time when I’m showering. No matter what’s happening in the house, when I step into the shower and get a sniff of LuSa soap, I can let go of all the stress and just relax for a few minutes. I love you for that. ๐Ÿ™‚

  96. Lisa C says:

  99. Bonnie Groves-Cantrell says:

Wow, I thought I left a comment the other day but I guess it didn’t actually post. lol

I first got one of your products as a sample from http://www.sweetbottomsbaby.com We tried the Earth Child soap sample and fell in love with it!

So for my birthday I ordered some scratch and dent soap and a Welcome little one for my son who is almost 10 months.

The anticipation to find out what soaps I got and try out the booty balm was killing me. Especially when the postal service evidently decided that the package smelled too good to deliver and let it make the trip to Florida TWICE!

My husband and I enjoyed trying to match up the naked bars of soap to which ones it looked like online but it doesn’t matter because they ALL smell wonderful and its hilarious to say that my son’s butt smells great too thanks to the booty balm that’s working on clearing up a rash. 8)

  100. Amy S. says:

I love LuSa products! We use the baby wipe juice everyday. My other favorites are the baby naked bar soap, the lotion bars and the booty balm! I would love to try the earth child soap for myself thus my pick, if I win, would be the 5 naked bars.

  101. Lisa Feyen says:

I’ve really enjoyed your posts, and appreciate the honesty and passion that you bring to your work. Ya know, I’d love to see deodorant. That is such a tricky thing for me – to find one that is natural, gentle, smells good, and works.

  105. Sarah Hartnell says:

I’m a booty balm lady and recently got your lotion and lip balm. I’ve yet to try your soap. As someone who loves the smell of cinnamon, please let me know if you are working on figuring out a way to add that scent to your collection.

  106. Lexy says:

I’m looking forward to deodorant from you! And I LOVED hearing about what your employees do when they are not at work!

  107. Trish says:

Oh, how I WISH I’d known about you when I did have babes in diapers. Everyone thought I was nuts for making my own wipes…

  109. Carrie Sims, STL,MO says:

I stumbled upon this great soap at the Madison, WI farmers market and have been addicted to Rachel’s products and her customer service ever since. I have been ordering for years now and even though I am a single mom, law student with no money, it is my absolute MUST HAVE purchase. Every day, the soap makes me happy and purely clean, the body balm makes my skin feel healthier (and I need to respect this, my largest organ that serves me so well) and the smell overall calms me. Keep up the good work as a small business owner and your ideals as a mother and environmentally conscious business/family. I love your blog too!

  110. Heather says:

I have been a fan for a few years. I first fell in love with your Patchouli sugar scrub and lotion bar. Earlier this year, I had the pleasure of adding Booty Balm, Wipe juice, cheek and chin, baby soap and sleeping potion to my collection. Like many others I can’t wait to try your deodorant and shampoo. Thank you for helping me and baby smell pretty and making wonderful products!

  111. J Stuart says:

I received a lip balm when I ordered sunscreen for my daughter. I instantly fell in love with it. When the tube ran out, I threw it away thinking I would remember the name. It took some searching and I finally found your site. I ordered some soap with a 3 pack of lip balm and the soap is just as fantastic. I look forward to trying more products with those wonderful scents!! Thanks for all your efforts. They are truly a gift!

  112. Leora says:

I love, love, love your products! Been using your lotion bars since before LuSa was LuSa. And you’ve completely converted me to the wonders of sugar scrubs.
I’ve got some wonderful friends who are expecting their first little one this year and I know that they’ll be getting a gift set of LuSa products as we get closer to the due date. What better gift that to share some wonderful natural products with a new generation!

  113. Anne says:

I love, love LuSa products. Our whole family uses LuSa, and we are booty balm and wipe juice fans, too. I’ve been meaning to send you an e-mail, Rachel, about my LuSa beginning. One day, I just need to sit down and do it! My sister is due in June with her first, I’d love to win something for her.

  116. beth says:

I tried your sleepy rollon in anticipation of overseas flights and have no recollection of *trying* to fall asleep, it just drifted in. I also like the way your lotion bar makes my skin soft and that too is good for traveling – no liquid to have to take out and send thru the airport scanners. Thanks for giving me good choices

  117. Rachel O'Connell says:

We ran out of your Wipe Juice about a month ago and I *just* got around to ordering more. About 2 days after I refilled the wipes warmer with WJ, my husband told me he could tell I had changed something because our son’s diaper rash had completely gone away. I’ll never wait a month again!
