When I first started creating body care recipes I felt very much the same way I do when I write the best of my posts for you today.

Inspiration. Joy. Meaning.

 

It's still like that.

 

Because we're still a small, family-owned, independent business.

We do everything ourselves and infuse our product with laughter, love, and good juju at ever turn.

 

Because we literally mix, pour, cut, package, and label every single item by hand.

We're tiny. Tinier than you might imagine, with a crew of just seven part-time folks, doing it all.

 

And we love what we do.

So much.

 

And then sometimes, like last weekend, I stand in a booth selling soap and lip balm and Booty Balm and I meet you and you share amazing stories about our products and how they weave into your lives.

How you heal with them.

Live with them.

Love with them.

How the smell of Booty Balm and Baby Wipe Juice will always, always transport you back in time to when your child was a tiny baby in your arms.

 

And I'm honored and humbled all over again to be a part of your story.

And I'm reminded of why we do this the way we do.

Because of you.

Because of earning your trust and being a part of your day-to-day.

Seriously. What an honor that is.

 

And so, with that warm-fuzzy feeling in my belly and the holiday season upon us, I thought a giveaway was in order.

And yes, some lovely free product for anyone and everyone interested in ordering something this season, no matter how much.

    I love how versatile so many of your products are we’ve sink bathed dirty boys (we have4) with wipe juice…..used booty balm on scrapes and bumps……and mamas worn feet.     Stopped at the Willy St Co-op last week for lip balm for my six-year old, Hazel. We stood there in the Wellness section examining the options. She pointed to one and then I asked ” Do you want this one, or one of the ones our friends made?” She paused and asked, “Can I smell them first?”. “Sure,” I replied, knowing I just bought both by opening them in the store. She smelled, then tried them both, then put the LuSa tube in her pocket.

    I have been reading your blog for a while and have been thinking about treating myself to something nice for christmas, after the year I´ve been having I think I can safely say that I earn some indulgence.
    Got the diagnosis Fibromyalgia in May, a very unexpected MSdiagnosis 11 weeks ago which turned my life around and to top it off I pulled of my clavicule 3 weeks ago so I have not been able to do anything since then. Not crocheting or knitting, and I have a fair tomorrow so, hello stress!
    Thank you for writing a wonderful blog and letting us follow your life, it can really be a bliss to read on bad days!

Add a pulled clavicule, not being able to craft and a upcoming craftfair and there´s my autumn. *sigh*

    I stumbled upon LuSa about 4 years ago. I bought the Wipe Juice. It was truly the best smelling stuff, people commented all the time, what is that smell?!! Then I tried the soap, and lotion bars. It is the best smelling stuff, we love everything we have or have tried. I have LuSa stuff everywhere. I totally understand your gratitude and feelings. My husband and I own a business, we are finally doing well after more than 5 years, and much perseverance.
