We started our journey with a two day push from Wisconsin to North Carolina. Asheville was our first pause in the driving, with a long overdue visit planned with some old friends.

Honestly, I don't think we could have chosen a nicer way to start our trip.

Two days to rest, reconnect, visit, and play before it was time to load up our car for the second leg of the journey. It was just lovely.

Next up we head toward Georgia and a rendezvous with my parents for a few days of camping and exploring together before the four of us go solo for the final leg of the trip, to that little island on the Gulf.

I'll post a second post card the next time I have a chance!

Stay cozy, friends.

Love,
Rachel

Max Patch up in Hot Springs?
If I was a betting woman, that is where I would put my money.

Love that you were in my neck of the woods.
