These photos have nothing to do with anything except that Lupine thought I should show them to you.
Because there's nothing like a cute/terrified raccoon to brighten an ordinary day.
This little one came to see us a few nights ago. I'm glad she didn't bring her mama along (I'd worry a bit for our garden, trash can, and rabbit), but I do hope they found each other again.
Wishing you a wild and wonderful weekend. I'll be offline until Monday or Tuesday, enjoying life without the screen. Who will join me?
Have a wonderful weekend, friends.
Love,
Rachel
We don’t have racoons in my country. They are so cute! Thanks for sharing the pictures.
I got to HOLD a baby racoon last week! A friend of a friend volunteered to be a foster-mama when she learned some baby racoons would otherwise be euthanized. Trust me, there’s NOTHING more wonderful than being cuddled by a baby racoon…
oh that photo reminds me of my time in Wi, I have a similar pic of a racoon clinging to a tree in the woods
enjoy being screenfree
Remember when you asked us why we come here? I just thought of another reason while I was on a different blog: you are kind. Kind, kind, kind. I can see it in your words and pictures and I feel safe on your blog.
Thanks for your lovely blog! See you monday!
Thanks so much for your words, Julien.
